What is Vivace?
Vivace treatments in Louisville and Lexington involve microneedling combined with radio-frequency energy to tighten and rejuvenate the skin. Very small, gold-plated needles are inserted into the skin, and radio-frequency energy is transmitted from the bottom of the needles. This treatment can be used on any area of the face and body, improve the appearance of dull-looking skin, minimize large pores, and improve acne on the face.
Most skin tones and types can be treated by Vivace, including tanned and dark skin tones. A consultation can help to best decide if these treatments are right for you and your skin desires.

How are Vivace Treatments Done?
First, the treatment areas are numbed using a topical anesthetic, A handheld device designed with multiple needle heads will then puncture the skin while transmitting radio-frequency energy. This process stimulates the production of collagen, as well as hyaluronic acid and elastin to tighten the skin for a more youthful-looking complexion. Radio-frequency levels can be adjusted depending on each individual’s specific treatment needs. Vivace treatments last 45 minutes each and require three to six sessions each spaced one week apart to see desired results.
After treatment, treatment areas may be sensitive and redness may occur, though this should subside in a couple of days. Patients should avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours and direct sunlight for 48 hours. After three treatment sessions, patients can see drastic improvements in their skin, for a tighter, smoother, and more youthful skin appearance, though results will continue to improve over time.
